Daily Duties at Weatherford International:
• • Led IT Hardware strategic sourcing initiative which resulted in a contract with Dell that provided a net savings of 2 million dollars in annual hardware/peripheral spend. Incorporated our partnership with FedEx which will allow Weatherford to use our current shipping agreement with Dell, resulting in net savings of over $200,000. • Managed Weatherford Global IT/Telecom hardware/software spend totaling more than 40 million dollars annually. Reported to the Executive Vice President for Global IT Procurement Strategy. • Project Lead of Executive Steering Committee to evaluate viable Electronic Invoice Solution providers. Developed business case which resulted in a decision to customize a current internal software system. • Project Manager of Office Max and Dell integrations into the Vendor Communication System(VCS). The VCS is an internal procure-to-pay solution. • Project Manager for development of a corporate wireless portal that enables employees to access the intranet and administer all aspects of the corporate wireless accounts. Developed project plan, business rules and deliverables to ensure that all tasks were delivered on time and under budget. • Developed Software Central Repository which enables visibility into six global regions software spend. Information is currently being utilized to evaluate software spend and potential areas of consolidation and contract re-negotiation.
