Daily Duties at Mcc Computer Company:
•Assisted VP of Engineering through the entire development life cycle of a ruggedized hand held device. •Active involvement in project financing decisions •Analog circuit design, high-speed circuit designs, PCB board design, verification and bench testing. •Trouble shoot electrical issues with respect to RF modules and assist Sr. Engineers in board bring up. •Communicated with Field Application Engineers to help choose replacements of components with better electrical characteristics. Helped increase product yield from 55 % to 78 %, saving MCC $ ~60,000. •Interacted with Layout Engineers to rectify issues in board designs. Helped increase yield by 25% from first to the third revision. •Integration of Biometric software for iris, finger and facial image capture into the system •Bench testing of computer motherboards and integrated system. •Test various circuit components such as amplifiers, ADCs, VCOs, filters, voltage regulators, and PLLs. •Signal Integrity analysis of PCBs involving high-speed circuits. •Timing analysis for high-speed signaling techniques such as USB, FSB, LVDS, BIOS, SMBUS lines
