•Apply Six Sigma techniques to identify sources of variation and corrective measures. •Managed procurement of electronic/mechanical components for build of 200 computers. •Built cost forecasting models to identify internal cost with respect to raw material and labor. •Submitted RFP to various vendors and made budget critical decisions. •Implement Manufacturing Compliance Matrix which would allow MCC to assess supplier’s quality and capability. •Implemented Material Resource Planning software (MRP) to keep track of the entire inventory, generate shortage reports and issue purchase orders for MCC to fulfill customer demands. •Developed an Outsource Designed Module (ODM) for MCC to identify potential vendors for Engineering Services and long term production purposes. Helped save ~$ 50,000 on the first run of prototypes. •Active involvement in all important outsourcing decisions with respect to design, fabrication and process flow. •Worked with accounting to make sure MCC maintains good business relations with all vendors.
