Daily Duties at Eaton Corp:

Production Manager / Sr. Manufacturing. Engineer (1996-2001) Complete responsibility for the production of Flat Panel Displays including scheduling production, forecasting shipments, manpower and shop load. Performed cost savings analysis, capacity planning, process flow mapping and shop floor space allocation. Set up, maintained and monitored manufacturing budgets, scrap reports, on time delivery schedules and ISO procedures. Began kaizan systems by implementing “Lean” manufacturing techniques, single piece flow process and JIT inventory. Monitor processes for waste reduction in manpower, movements and inventory. Set up out sourcing suppliers for sub-assembly work to reduce in house inventory and monitored quality of material at on-floor incoming inspection. Implemented metrics to measure processes. Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma. Training Facilitator (1987-1996) • Divisional training needs including training, needs analysis, development, preparation and delivery at all levels within the organization. • Prepared documentation, presented, trained and teamed in the implementation of ISO 9001 certification. • Prepared training budgets and monitored costs. Presented safety training • Set up outside training and monitored training effectiveness. Acted as employee coach, is a Zenger Miller certified instructor and counseled employees in education, career guidance and lifestyle coaching. Manufacturing Engineer (1981-1987) • Preparation of product documentation, writing of Route sheets, and analyzed production needs. • Interfaced with Design, Purchasing, Drafting, and Contracts in troubleshooting Design and Manufacturing problems. Expedited materials, controlled manufacturing costs and prepared and monitored manufacturing budgets.
