 Participated in/ initiated various lean initiative projects  Maintained automated reports for Production control, reported shortage counts and information with 99% accuracy  Dealt daily with aspects of purchasing, planning, inventory control, shortage control, expediting of materials, customer service and communication, informational spreadsheets, and lean manufacturing; resolved any discrepancies, kept up with proper paperwork for all resolutions, defined critical path items  As Lead for Materials Safety Council, led presentation for Manufacturing Excellence Award, and MRP  As Lead for Materials Safety Council implemented an online submission process to streamline Safety Council Project  Monitored trends in supply chain delivery performance; monitored recovery plans as required with the supply chain in support of corporate schedule  Identified root cause and disconnects; developed resolutions and eliminated barriers  Communicated a sense of urgency to the supply base in order to meet critical deliveries for manufacturing needs
