Participated in/ initiated various lean initiative projects Maintained automated reports for Production control, reported shortage counts and information with 99% accuracy Dealt daily with aspects of purchasing, planning, inventory control, shortage control, expediting of materials, customer service and communication, informational spreadsheets, and lean manufacturing; resolved any discrepancies, kept up with proper paperwork for all resolutions, defined critical path items As Lead for Materials Safety Council, led presentation for Manufacturing Excellence Award, and MRP As Lead for Materials Safety Council implemented an online submission process to streamline Safety Council Project Monitored trends in supply chain delivery performance; monitored recovery plans as required with the supply chain in support of corporate schedule Identified root cause and disconnects; developed resolutions and eliminated barriers Communicated a sense of urgency to the supply base in order to meet critical deliveries for manufacturing needs
