Daily Duties at The Boeing Company:
In 1800-employee electronics plant, administered all environmental programs (RCRA, Air Emissions, SARA, Pollution Prevention, Wastewater/Stormwater, Biohazard Waste, Haz Mat Emergency Response, Pesticide Mgt., PCBs, Environmental Auditing). Acted as SHEA management focal as backup to SHEA Manager. Actively involved in site safety program decisions (PPE, Haz Com, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Contractor Safety, Lockout/Tagout). Planned, developed, implemented, and managed environmental programs to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and Boeing standards. Performed regulatory reporting and regulatory permitting. Acted as liaison between facility, environmental regulatory agencies, and community. Briefed management on SHEA issues and developed site SHEA policy and guidance. Served as Site Emergency Coordinator on 24-hour call.
