Daily Duties at Coast Bellevue Hotel:
Promoted to this opportunity through my Asset Management firm in Washington DC after leading revenue turnaround of their Kimpton Palomar Hotel in Arlington, VA where we went from #3 in ADR, Occupancy and REVPAR to #1 within a 90 day time frame. Responsible for all top line revenue for the property, re branding of the product, marketing, internet channels, website development, staff management, hotel guest programs- hotel wine hour and in room marketing. Manage a staff of 6 which includes catering. Maintain Sales Goal working with Hotel's Top Corporate Market customers, Entertainment, Airline and Third Party booking channels. Represent the property with local tourism authorites and represent the product at all Trade Shows. Manage hotel budgets, hotel in room amenities, corporate marketing programs with Whole Foods and area Wine Vendors and day to day reports to Ownership. Achieving 15% increase in Corporate Rates over previous year. Work with Rooms and Food and Beverage Divisions on new customer service policies, new menu development and housekeeping proceedures. Contract negotiation and sales calls to perspective customers. Analysis of competitive products and hotel reports of booking levels into the marketplace. Create a new positive attitude with the hotel. Work on remodeling projects for the property to help achieve goals of Ownership.
