Daily Duties at Ibm Global Services:
•Providing maintenance, enhancement and pre-production/production support to IBM’s e-business worldwide. •Analyzing issues regarding website-maintenance, server-performance, data-backup, for the smooth functioning of IBM’s website. •Escalating critical issues to higher management for immediate action. •Designing and testing application for Knowledge Management using Lotus Notes and doing automation and enhancement of applications via AIX shell-script for aid in routine tasks. •Preparing status report for the client to help them track the status of problem ticket pertaining to website-issues. •Conducting Six Sigma brainstorming sessions for improvement of project deliverables. •Training the team on the release of new versions of IBM’s website and rendering On Job Training on application and content management tools to the new joiners. •Handling Project Audits.
