Daily Duties at Anthony International:
World’s largest manufacturer of specialty and commercial glass, refrigerator and freezer doors, case lighting, and display and merchandising systems. Drove Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing philosophy and methodology throughout the organization. Identified priorities for improvement; developed plans, objectives, metrics, and reporting creating Balanced Scorecard. Elaborated training, coaching and developed documentation of materials in English and Spanish language supporting the lean-six sigma. Improved efficiency and productivity by 45% in four months, achieved 95% on-time delivery for direct sales, and increased production by 51% by setting goals, developing metrics, and value processing mapping flows. Reduced costs for excess scrap by $10+ million and improved monthly cash flow by 25% by creating Kaisan event and implementing standards and accountability for each production area. Managed staff of 195 operators and 22 supervisors.
