Daily Duties at The Body Shop:
- Ensure all invoices received are authorized, signed and returned to relevant persons in Finance - Order all supplies for all stores and personnel. - Assist with Accounts Payable to dispute invoices and make payments. - Create and setup new vendors for billing. - To assist on department projects when required. - Maintaining databases using Excel and internet. - Maintaining and creating user log-in ids and passwords for new personnel. - Attend weekly meetings. - Report potential risks, near misses and real accidents to relevant managers. Human Resources Assistant (October 2008 – March 2009) - Provides administrative support to Human Resources including HRIS data entry/maintenance, employee file maintenance; responsible for data entry on HR system (SAP), employee files integrity and maintenance; archiving on-site records to storage facility; faxing, filing, copying, and assisting with special projects as required. - Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimizing the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace. - POC for all unemployment claims and employment verifications.
