Daily Duties at Graybar Electric:
Purpose To develop strategic business plans, marketing programs, and partnerships to support sales in vertical industrial market segments. Specific Responsibilities Lead all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration into new or existing market segments. Leads and drives new program ideas which result in profitable market strategies. Leads the development and execution of account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals. Is a contributing / lead influence on standards due to leadership in appropriate industry organizations. Guide business development within assigned key accounts and/or markets. Develop sponsorship with key decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Perform leading-edge areas of work for the professional field. Preempts potential problems and provide effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. Knowledge Demonstrate extensive knowledge in field of specialization or multiple disciplines to the successful completion of complex assignments. Successfully serve as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices, issues faced and contribute to problem resolution of those issues.
