Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman:

MEMBER SMALL BUSINESS ADVOCACY TEAM Lead the Proposal Team in delivering a Proposal to the customer according to NORTHROP GRUMMAN business rules and standard processes. ● Analyzed the RFP and make associated proposal process and content judgments ● Provided guidance to proposal owner and assigned LOB and proposal center staff ● Lead proposal team, including estimating number of personnel needed from the LOB to staff the proposal ● Prepared proposal directive O Defined styled conventions based on proposal center standards and thed RFP O Prepared proposal scheduled and outlined ● Created, as needed, requirements and compliance matrices of RFP requirements (assigned production coordinator may assist in this process) ● Managed logistics; scheduled all meetings and ensured food is ordered, as appropriated ● Ensured proposal compliance with RFP requirements ● Contact and obtained from risk, and contracts departments required comments, and forms ● Assisted proposal owner in drafting or prepared executive summary; occasionally wrote sections ● Interfaced with production throughout the process ● Reviewed and edited all sections ● Signed off on all final sections ● Operated as the Proposal Process expert, in terms of internal process knowledge, proposal project management and proposal and contract creation expertise including coordination, application of lessons learned and red used of Intellectual capital. ● Interfaced with Aligned Functions, (i.e. Contracts and Negotiations, Legal, Quality Assurance, Pricing, etc) and Business and Technical resources as well as within the Proposal Development Group for the other services including research and Proposal Production). ● Supported and/or lead the Proposal Team, on behalf of the Capture Manager in delivering a Proposal to the customer according to NGC business rules and standard processes. ● Interfaced with Aligned Functions, (i.e. Contracts and Negotiations, Pricing, etc) and Business and Technical resources and Proposal Production). ● Ensured work effort invested in proposal and solution development is managed effectively, freeing the Capture Manager to spend more time with the customer and helping the Bid Team (and supporting Subject Matter Experts) to build better proposal content, project delivery plans, estimates and deliverables. ● Supported the Capture Manager through the NGC internal process for Solution Design and manage the solution design activity as a project (which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management). ● Main objective was to ensure work effort invested in proposal and solution development is managed effectively. ● Support the Proposal Team through the NORTHROP GRUMMAN internal process for Solution Design and manage the solution design activity as a project (which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management). ● Served as deputy or book/volume manager on large complex proposals. ● Managed multiple simultaneous proposals. ● Analyzed the RFP and make associated proposal process and content judgments. ● Provided guidance to sales lead/proposal owner/ and assigned LOB and proposal center staff
