Managed multiple on-going projects, integrating POS and web-based payment applications to company’s e-commerce gateway; coordinated and communicated with internal and external sales representatives, merchants, developers, service providers and partners regarding gateway features, PCI compliance, compatibility of hardware and software, integration and processing questions, setup test accounts, reviewed transactions, performed code review and provided troubleshooting to developers from initial contact through project completion, identified and resolved production hardware and software issues. Selected Achievements • Provided excellence in customer support; identified and corrected issue with merchant’s swipe device that caused 80% of Visa credit card transactions to fail. Analyzed and corrected erroneous tip transactions on 500+ credit card transactions and assisted vendor to correct programming logic. • Managed integration and certification of 70+ POS/e-commerce payment applications to the company’s e-commerce payment gateway with major businesses generating in excess of $2 million dollars in transactions annually. • Initiated open-source and object-oriented approaches to integration. Doubled code samples available to developers by adding PHP, Python, JavaScript, AJAX, SOAP and OLE integrations to the company’s software development kit. New code optimized for Web Service and POST integrations. • Wrote automated testing application to process test transactions 24/7 to bank card processors and provide email alert in the event of a communications outage, saving estimated $50,000 per year.
