• Accurately sourced cleared and non-cleared candidates for government and private sector positions • Prospected, interviewed, evaluated, and performed credential verification of potential employees in order to provide my company with the best candidates • Interfaced with clients to discuss hiring needs and the complete technical and intangible skills desired in top candidates as well as to effectively sell my candidates • Screened candidates for all job opportunities in the Information Technology (IT) field from low to mid and senior level positions • Achieved Top 5 Ranking as a top performer in the company out of over 200 other recruiters • Employed creative recruitment tactics to identify and gain the attention of passive candidates using Web2.0 and social networking sites such as LinkedIn.com and Facebook.com • Acted as the voice and face of my company when performing interviews and presentations on college campuses to attract appropriate candidates • Interviewed candidates over the phone and in person to judge their professional and intangible qualities and characteristics • Created, reviewed, and updated recruiting strategies and styles for all Recruiters by researching current recruiting trends • Developed a presentation given to the Presidents of the company about current and future recruiting trends to suggest how we can stay current in the market • Coordinated job postings, interview schedules, and travel plans with large colleges and universities to interview candidates on their campuses throughout the region. • Negotiated with candidates and hiring managers to determine rates that would maximize profit • Mentored and communicated with the entire recruiting force to ensure that our clients’ positions were getting proper attention • Created boolean keyword searches to search out top candidates • Prepared administrative documents to ensure accurate payment, billing, and benefits for contractors • Trained new and junior recruiters on best recruiting tactics and proprietary programs
