Daily Duties at Orange County Medical Network:
Responsible for recommendations regarding hardware configuration and software, plus associated costs to install, maintain and run. Reported directly to CEO. Support all users of Windows 2003 servers (using Active Directory) including any computer peripherals connected to network devices. Managed entire support systems including set-up, maintenance, and upgrades. Oversaw security and integration of company information systems. • Applied project management skills that analyzed current and future needs of business strategy of the company (SDLC-System Development Life Cycle). • Defined and created a company wide disaster recovery plan. • Developed and maintained solid relationships with various vendors to negotiate best price packages. • Set-up and maintained company wide wireless connections streamlining operations. • Provided first line assistance to computer clients in all system software and training in software procedures. • Created an asset management system and a patient scheduling procedure-improving productivity.
