Daily Duties at Wipro:

NonStop Tuxedo 8.0 is a middle ware running on OSS (UNIX) environment of NonStop Kernel (NSK). It provides fault tolerant API library for high volume transaction based applications. Using Domain_MIB, the user could combine two or more independent systems, running on different operating systems, into one. Tuxedo provided Domain, Access Control, Client, Work Station services. • Architected test framework for DM_MIB sub system of NS Tuxedo 8.0 • Reviewed the requirements of feature enhancements. • Designed 40 test cases covering 80 attributes of 8 classes of Domain MIB • Maintained the source code under CVS for secure modifications. • Performed compatibility test with Windows and Sun version of Tuxedo. Performed backward compatibility test with NS-Tuxedo 6.5 • Analyzed defect reports from QA and provide feedback on them. • Reviewed the defect-fixes and test cases and process followed by peer members. Project highlights:  Six-Sigma certification was awarded for the project.  Many major defects were uncovered in Domain_MIB during the development run of the test cases.  Many major defects were uncovered during the execution of test cases for ADMIN_MIB, WS_MIB, ACL and \WS  Futuristic enhancement was incorporated into the test suite for ADMIN_MIB, WS_MIB, ACL and \WS Environment: C, UNIX, Shell scripts, OSS, TACL, NSK, Test Director, Guardian
