Daily Duties at Formrite Companies:
•Oversaw daily activities by managing, planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and projects for the Human Resources Department to include,training, safety, and payroll. •Analyzed departmental and organizational needs; recommended and implemented programs to enhance company and employees. •Maintain productive correspondence with business associates. •Gained knowledge of six-sigma, lean manufacturing, 5S and other processes. •Managed purchasing clerk and occupational health nurse. •Plan Administrator for the health care plan and benefit programs. •In charge of the complete payroll process. •Assisted with Collective Bargaining, as well as negotiations. •Effectively handled grievances and adverse actions. •Head Safety Committee and develop safety campaigns, safety systems, policies, and procedures, and train management and employees on rules and regulations. •Responsible for all OSHA and safety training for all employees including management. •Implemented and managed formal Lock out/Tag out and Hearing Conservation Program. •Conducted safety inspections and investigated violations to ensure safety procedures and trained management and employees on rules and regulations. •Maintained OSHA training schedules and complete all required regulatory documentation. •Accurately reviewed and investigated accident reports and unemployment claims. •Implemented performance management and improvement systems. •Developed company policy and documentation, including the employee handbook. •Provided employee services—counseling, safety, welfare, wellness, and health. •Conferred with management and supervisors to identify organizational and personnel needs, job descriptions, job duties, qualifications, skills, and other employee relations. •Provided assistance and advice on discipline and performance management. •Maintained knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting procedures to ensure compliance. •Conducted recruitment effort for all personnel on all levels including composing job announcements. •Conducted new employee orientations, career pathing program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, exit interviews, and employee termination. •Developed a wellness program that promotes good health among management and employees.
