Daily Duties at American General :
Maintained and grew existing and new relationships through personal initiative, industry contacts and resources, and extensive cold calling. Conducted sales and training meetings with merchants and branch personnel to promote new products. Manage Western Region that includes 67 branches in several western states. Source and implement new business with merchants and manufacturers, and manage $96 million portfolio. Conduct market research, establish new business relationships, evaluate merchant needs and make presentations (PowerPoint and/or verbal). Customize programs and negotiate costs. Coordinate with branch networks to meet training, servicing, regulatory and sales goals.
