Daily Duties at The Brenton Dabney Group, Ltd:

Market, plan and execute assignments for local commercial and non-profit enterprises performing contracts with the Federal government. Assignments include establishing cost accounting systems compliant with FAR, OMB A-133 and GAAP. Assignments also entailed working with executive teams to fold abstract, conceptual ideas into concrete plans and operational models. Also provided temporary CFO and controller services as independent contractor to local public accounting firm entailing assignment that: required application of and conversion of US GAAP to UK GAAP; developing risk management policies and procedures; and executing turn-around plans for troubled government contracting firms.
