Daily Duties at North Platte Citizen Advocacy:

Developed and managed a 40k budget, filed state and federal tax reports, complete monthly and annual financial reports, assessed volunteer and client needs; initiated and supported relationships between people who had disabilities and an active person in the community who would look after this persons rights and interests as if they were their own. Kept 501(c)3 status updated, reponsible for grant writing to local support groups, trained and supported peers within Nebraska and throughout North America. Sought out active comunity members to create a board of directors for oversight of program to ensure the continuation of program after I left. The program is still active and relationships I intiated are still active and thriving.

entire re-organization of operations of our organization two different times in the past year
two flooded buildings and maintaining customer service through re-routing our services to different buildings and different parts of our building.

I have visited other businesses similar to ours
asked questions
observed customer access, friendliness of staff, response of customers
brought ideas to shareholders with examples and potential changes that don't cost money but could have a huge impact on client's firt impressions
took phone lines off of front reception area so receptionists can focus all their attention on clients walking in the door.
divided tasks evenly based on skill level of all employees/ crosstraining each in at least three roles so they are constantly learning and there is no interuption in service if someone is missing for a day or several days.
