Daily Duties at Amkor Technology Philippines:

1. Responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to make or repair components die and mold. 2. Verifies conformance of the machine parts to specifications with the used of measuring instruments such as micrometer, height master, depth gage, gage block, height transfer, and tool makers microscope. 3. Study specifications such as drawing / blueprints and plan sequence of operation. 4. Know how to read and calibrate measuring instruments such as micrometer, height master, depth gage, gage block, height transfer, and tool makers microscope. 5. Refers to drawing in machinery tools. 6. Check the dimension of work piece using precision measuring instruments. 7. Initiates requisition for materials needed for fabrication. 8. Keeps machine tools in working condition by cleaning and lubrication after used. 9. Perform other duties that may be assigned to or required of the job. 10. Support production on machine repair, trouble shooting and maintenance. 11. Support design, fabrication, and refurbishing for both front and end line tools and dies. 12. Support inspection, buy-off and qualification of tooling to conform with dimension and functional specification with the extreme inspection method using various types of measuring tools / instrument. 13. Responsible for implementation of production schedules and ensuring effective used of manpower and equipments. 14. Responsible for the implementation of preventive maintenance for machines and equipments diagnosing faults and overseeing repairs. 15. Ensure that the production plans and schedules are being complied accordingly. 16. Provide technical assistance support relative to in process quality improvement and customer satisfaction. 17. Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standard regulations. 18. Willing to report to company anytime to perform and carries such other job functions as to sustain the production output.
