Daily Duties at Ao Smith:
Developed and executed new employee recruitment practices. Responsible for researching the candidate field to find candidates with common and uncommon skills, abilities and experience that met the needs of various departments. Implemented processes to closely manage worker’s compensation, short-term disability, long-term disability claims. Developed new employee orientation program. Point of contact for employees to address questions concerning HR Policies & Procedures. Strong conflict management skills. Coordinated and conducted safety training for plant Personnel. Created and maintained job descriptions and performance evaluations. Provided coaching/counseling to employees when performance was not up to company standards. Conduct performance evaluations and reviews. Coordinated, implemented and maintained procedures and polices. Assist in monitoring EEO/AA compliance.
