Daily Duties at Tacom, Acquisition Center, Rock Island Arsenal:

Successfully performed acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation (cost/price analysis), contract negotiation, post award administration for production equipment, repair parts, extensive technical support services, for US Army equipment and supporting items. Ensured all action were timely and accurately formulated to included properly justified contract support approvals for solicitation and award both competitively and limited sources. Provided full-service acquisition services included complete pre-award and post-award functions. Requirements successfully accomplished involved ADP resources, manufacturing, specialized services, installation support mission and related commodities. Utilized long term contracts to acquire items of a higher quality, low cost and Best Value. Administered the first Information Technology contract ($30M FFP) under A-76 guidelines. Have excellent communication skills and writing abilities. Appointed small and minority businesses advocate for new businesses wanting to do business with the Government. Routinely demonstrated complete and totally documented contract files that withstood internal audits.
