Daily Duties at Cerner Corporation:
1st & 2nd level Support. * Support Millennium AIX/HPUX/LINUX/WINDOWS and VMS operating systems. Troubleshoot issues via CAM/BMC Patrol alarming system and inbound calls via Frontend and Backend. If unable to resolve issues escalate to Production Owner. Support over 1500 servers nationally and internationally, Use MQ series for error resolution, increase loglevels of servers for resolution, logports of devices to clear connection issues. Support WebSphereApp server issues, Oracle errors, transaction queue backlog. Problem solve Windows process issues via Taskmanager, manage services and DOS/PS/FEtools. Problem solve frontend operations job via operations view monitor, troubleshoot printer issues via frontend and backend access. Use SQLplus/ccl to help resolve,requeue and skip transactions of interface issues. Use Navigator ticketing tool to log issues and report issues to next level support, Use Active Directory for access administration, VmWare Console for VmWare server support.
