Daily Duties at Questar Capital:
Accountable for the professional development of 130 independent registered representatives within designated territory of Northeastern US; coached representatives on how to increase sales and broaden sales products. Responsible for over 50% of top representatives in company. Reviewed representative sales metrics/history to diagnose issues and appropriately coach representatives; consistently grew representative sales due to increased product knowledge. Coached representatives on how to effectively build their practice; assisted in creating marketing plans, generating sales ideas and service agreements. Traveled territory speaking to large groups on business development, industry trends, attitude and goal setting; served as subject matter expert for representatives regarding products. Achieved net increase of 5 representatives in 1st quarter of 2009. Maintained 2009 sales to that of 2008 in downturn market. Drastically increased attendance to quarterly focus forum meetings and monthly sales calls with representatives through increased marketing and communication; more than doubled representative attendance.
