Daily Duties at First Student:
Ensure bus is safe to drive by performing a zonar pretrip to inspect and verify that the bus is safe to drive. Safely transport school aged children to and from school. Transported special needs childern on bus equiped with a wheel-chair lift. Promptly report and difficulites with childern or equipment. Keep route and scheduled times up-to-date in route book. Communicate to bus management and school administration about behaviorial issues and scheduling conflicts. Attend on-going training & safety meetings to keep training current. Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all children riding on the bus. Ensure that no childern are left unattended on the bus.
