Daily Duties at Deltek Inc:
As a Product Manager, I led cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle. I was responsible for coaching and motivating team members to ensure high productivity, teamwork, and improving team competency. My responsibilities also included maintaining schedules and assigning tasks to team members. In this role, I learned how to communicate with business leadership and became skilled in adapting software development priorities to match business goals. As a liaison between our Client Services department and the Research and Development team, I was responsible for managing and resolving all business and/or technical issues that came in via Client Services. These items consisted of issues that could not be resolved through the front line support department and were escalated directly to me. I evaluated each of the issues and either defined a “hot fix” for the software or communicated a suitable workaround to the business and/or technical problem directly to the client.
