Daily Duties at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association:
Responsible for the strategic direction and management of BCBSA Web initiatives • Managing FTE staff of 4, 40+indirect reporting staff and freelance/contract employees • Information architecture for internal and external facing information environments and the compliance of affiliate-related sites • Strategic direction for corporate Web initiatives including site design and strategy, HTML, ASP, security, statistics and applications/database development for Internet site (serving 2 million+ visitors annually), and Extranet and Intranet sites (over 16,000 documents served to 175,000 BCBS employees nationwide). • Providing programming training, and communications support for BCBSA Web staff and site visitors; 50+ nationally placed corporate Webmasters.
