Daily Duties at Visteon:
Acted as a lead to drive the Six Sigma methodology in a manufacturing plant environment. Provided leadership and coaching for champions and green belts in the Six Sigma methodology. Completed high impact operational projects and assisted in lean activities. · Led and completed seven manufacturing Black Belt projects for a total savings of $1.7 million improving scrap, defects and processes. · Advised six Black Belts and seven Green Belts improving plant’s overall performance. · Instituted a plant wide plastic recycling program of scrap parts reducing landfill costs and generated revenue of $500K per year · Acted as coordinator and lead auditor for door trim panels in achieving ISO 14001 certification for the plant. · Assisted two Lean workshops in setting up productions lines utilizing visual factory and kanban cards. · Taught two Champion and one Green Belt training sessions for 50 employees to drive Six Sigma methodology.
