Daily Duties at Trw Automotive:

Acted as a key change agent and focused on continuous improvement activity to capture and exchange lessons learned and best practices across divisions, globally. Led, coached, mentored and trained management and green belts in Six Sigma as well as Design for Six Sigma. Tracked all projects to completion in the company’s continuous improvement system. · Mentored and assisted more than 45 green belts yearly that exceeded continuous improvement plan by $1.0M, $1.1M and $0.9M in 2008, 2007 and 2006 respectively. · Led and completed eight strategic engineering process Black Belt projects that totaled over $2 million in savings. · Completed one Shainin Red X project which reduced product rejects 30% at TRW Mexico plant. · Conducted nine Design For Six Sigma, two Quality Function Deployment and two Green Belt training courses for 230 employees to instill quality as a key element of company culture. · Facilitated a global product standardization workshop to reduce component complexity. Accomplished workshop goals with 50 international cross-functional employees within four days.
