Daily Duties at Ft. Lewis Public Works Department :

Provide continued development and enhancement of the Public Works functions for Fort Lewis. Services include modifications, maintenance, enhancements, and conversions of a variety of ADP applications and the continued generation of similar systems. Direct responsibility for the installation, maintenance, of 20 NT 4.0 Application servers. Testing of all in-house applications. Performed Daily Backups for Supplies UNIX based server. Direct responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of over 500 Windows, and NT workstations. Active involvement in process improvement pertaining to the upgrade and improvement of overall network maintenance. Train all staff members in the maintenance of all systems and configuration as well as the rollout new workstations.
