Daily Duties at Ali Al Salem Ab, Us Air Force:
As the Senior LAN Administrator for United States Air Force forward deployed Airbase in Kuwait. Responsible for designing and implementing all network and e-mail services on both the Classified (SIPR) and Unclassified (NIPR) networks for 386 Air Expeditionary Wing, 15th ERS (Predator Squadron). Royal Air Force, Kuwaiti Air Force, as well as the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, and U.S. Army units currently attached to the base. Directly responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the base’s NIPR and SIPR network. Act as the Main IT Trainer for all IT personnel that rotate to and from the base (every 90 days). Actively designed and implemented a new Network Control Center (NCC) from the ground up. Responsible for the “live” cutover from the tactical tents to the permanent building while maintaining a no downtime environment.
