Daily Duties at Las Alamandas Resort:

Complete responsibility for managing hotel operations and ecological environment. Supervised the redesigning of operational department manuals and implemented operational standards in areas such as inventories, portion control, menu pricing including re-designing of the menu to include area natural resources with an accent on Mexican-Caribbean fusion Haute cuisine, developed a Margarita and Tequila specialty bar (over 50 different libations). Created a financial turnaround, bringing the operations to a break even point from three previous years of financial operational losses. Developed sales and marketing plan which has produced benefits on occupancy percentage level and “RevPar” increase. Created a positive influx of collateral advertising and increasing awareness of the property. Among the accomplishments and challenges achieved was the ability to create a personnel team able to generate consistent positive guests' experience and travel trade publications reviews.
