Daily Duties at Casa Colonial Beach Resort & Spa:

Took over on pre-opening phase including final sign-off with contractor for project, development and set up of operational standards for all departments; implementation and evaluation of products and services; hiring of department head personnel; implementation of menu for all food/beverage outlets including wine list. Prepare opening budget and develop the sales and marketing plan along with corporate Sales Director and Vice president; developed a sales and marketing plan which included a series of blitzes; monitoring and follow up of distribution channels particularly rates, packages and inventory levels. Also involved in the negotiations to become a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the world. On the latest operational logistics move, replaced the Executive Chef and created the Director of Sales position. The former brought stability in terms of product quality and control of cost in food & beverage which was evident in the excellent comments from guests. The latter allowed us to meet sales quota for the last six (6) months which was accomplished through an emphasis on incentive meeting groups and weddings sales effort. These key acquisitions have resulted in an overall increase in operational revenues.
