Daily Duties at Georgia Pacific/Encadria:
Sr. Client Services Manager 03/98 – 09/03 Onsite at Georgia-Pacific for contingent staffing of administrative and Information Technology disciplines. Screened resumes, assessed and interviewed candidates, provided feedback and recommendations to hiring managers; strong relationship builder between client and candidate/employee. Provided accurate and timely communication to hiring managers, employees and candidates ensuring quality assurance. Successful in negotiating pay and bill rates; processing of talent payroll; peruse timecards for accuracy. Wrote and posted job descriptions for internal and contract employees utilizing job boards. Managed and interviewed more than 50 sexual harassment complaints with in-depth investigations. Redesigned a staffing and recruiting process that resulted in a lower turnover rate, and overall cost-per-hire increasing revenue. Successful at managing, documenting and attending more than 100 Unemployment hearings resulting in a lower experience rating saving Georgia-Pacific thousands of dollars. Project managed existing accounts and developed new accounts by planning and agreeing on the precise specification for the project, planned the project with time, team activities, resources, financials, etc. Partnered with hiring managers to assess long term and short term staffing goals and assisted in the implementation of staffing strategies. Regional Operations Manager 01/95- 03/98 Effectively managed 2 branch offices consisting of 8 staffing supervisors by delegating day-to-day operations, developed and tracked all work orders, requisitions, and applicant activity, communicated dispositions, recruiting, networking, cold calling, and sourcing. Among both branches, my team was successful in achieving and exceeding the budgeted branch sales goal during a significant economic downturn earning the largest profit for the branch. Coached, evaluated and terminated internal and external employees, improving productivity and job fit. Resolved employee-relations issues of punctuality, no call no show, sexual harassment, unemployment, workers compensation, benefits, falsification of employment documents, loss prevention and performance with a focus on complying with company policy, and state and federal regulations. Conducted behavioral interviews and facilitated the interview process with hiring managers as well as performance appraisals. Made client visits ensuring quality assurance, sat in on performance reviews for temporary staff alleviating both parties of co-employment issues, administered performance evaluations and provided counseling when necessary.
