Daily Duties at Aquent:
AQUENT (Creative and Marketing Staffing) Recruiting Manager RECRUITMENT AND SEARCH MANAGEMENT More than 10 years experience with proven success in recruitment and account management with strong ability to interact with, support and build relationships with all levels of management and Talent. Successful in streamlining recruiting programs which resulted in lower turnover and overall cost-per-hire resulting in increased revenue. Developed and implemented strategic recruitment programs effectively by developing sourcing strategies while increasing applicant flow. Superb experience in screening, interviewing and qualifying talent to meet the hiring managers staffing needs. A knack at achieving a good rapport and trust with both the talent and client resulting in closing deals in a confident manner. Managed all candidate recruitment, skill assessments, reference checks, offers, and orientations, performed exit interviews, processed new hire paperwork, evaluated and developed recruiting standards/metrics to achieve productivity and ensured individual and team goals were achieved. Working knowledge of Affirmative Action requirements in support of the recruitment process; understanding of compensation administration as it relates to creating compelling employment offers. Performed exit interviews and processed change of employee status. Managed a variety of the company’s concepts, practices, and procedures; extensive experience and excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Managed existing client accounts and developed new accounts via phone and in-person client visits for professional staffing; worked with hiring managers to setup interviews, sell the candidates strengths and manage the customers’ expectations; excellent salary and bill rate negotiations. Sole responsibility of managing the monthly Recruiting, Marketing and Networking P&L statement ensuring my department stays within the budget. LEADERSHIP Managed a team of 2 full-time recruiters and leadership of 3 Account Managers in day-to-day branch staffing operations, such as developing and tracking all requisitions and applicant activity, communicating dispositions and ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to. Operate effectively with little to no supervision. Skilled in delegating tasks, running daily team meetings, managing employees, implementing company processes and procedures while managing the day-to-day operations of staffing and recruiting. Excellent at using tact, grace and charm to deal with upset people. MULTI-TASKING Perform extremely well under pressure, stress and time sensitive situations and very detail oriented; great at juggling several projects simultaneously while managing other tasks. Oversaw and coordinated the process of Vendor Management responsibilities by identifying and approving vendors which included contract negotiations and service level agreements; third party staffing vendors; managed background and drug testing vendors, etc. Developed and tracked all requisitions and applicant activity, communicating dispositions and ensuring direct hire administrations were performed effectively. Oversaw on-boarding of internal and external staff; conducted performance appraisals. Managed and proactively prospected for new clients and candidates; coached and recommended employment avenues for new talent in their job search; administered skills assessment and made recommendations on training to enhance or learn new software skills. Managed and updated in-house Applicant Tracking System. Provided management with recruiting/client metrics weekly; tracked activity results; strategized with management to improve results.
