Transcribe physician’s orders and enter into computer, page MD’s, screen telephone calls, and handle emergency situations. Answer and take EMS reports/radio communications. Facilitate transfers to other medical centers. Facilitate admissions from the ED and enter on admission log. Complete on-call physician call schedule daily. Audit charts for charges, names, and appropriate information. Assist where needed.
