Daily Duties at Cable & Wireless Usa:
Responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of servers and workstations for the call center’s local area network. Conducted system assessments to identify and remediate non-standard configurations; testing and deploying system patches; and managing host-based security software, such as anti-virus and firewalls. • Effectively responded to several incidents that minimized impact to the call center • Developed the call center’s standard system images which were deployed to maintain a baseline configuration • Planned and implemented disaster recovery strategies for multiple call center sites • Upgraded approximately 300 call center workstations from Windows NT to Windows NT 4.0 • Upgraded approximately 20 call center servers from Windows NT to Windows NT 4.0
