Daily Duties at John Moriarty & Associates:
As a project engineer, I was responsible for reviewing shop drawing for compliance, contract drawing and specifications, tracked request for information, request for proposal for changes with Excel. Also prepared and maintained the indicated outcome report, which forecasted the budget for the project. In addition, I led the weekly owner, architect and contractor progress meetings alongside the project manager and distributed all relevant information to the subcontractors. Developed scopes for Request for Proposals (RFP’s), reviewed cost proposals and negotiated final price. Managed financial records and created reports summarizing payments, change orders and potential costs associated with pending RFP’s. As a project engineer I facilitated coordination meetings between the MEP trades and the MEP engineering consultants to reconcile ceiling heights and conflicts. Projects included the Praceis Pharmaceutical Headquarters, Laboratories and Head Office, MATHWORKS, Hi-Tech Computer Labs and Office and an Office Building, Woburn, MA
