What they like about Yrc Worldwide:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.

James Edwards Career
I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps where I learned what true dedication and leadership is. I came out of the military and went to work for Frith Construction. I was working days and going to school at night for Industrial welding and safety. I went back into the Marines for the first Desert Storm. I owned my own welding business for a while and then went to work for CSI Services. We did all types of motor repair on industrial motors as well as fabrication. I was promoted to Engineering Foreman and ran the fabrication department for about 3 years. I was responsible for all bids and schedules as well as ordered all of the materials. I kept up with all cost and gave reports weekly. I left CSI Services to go to work for Roadway Express. I was Rookie of the Year as a dock supervisor and was promoted to Lead Strip Supervisor after only one year and then Operations Manager after only 3 years due to my ability to lead people as well as reaching and maintaining the goals that the company set forth. I was promoted to a Division Quality and Admin Manager after 8 years with the company and was responsible for the reducing cargo claims for 32 facilities. I also researched thefts and reported to the Area Dirtector of Operations as well as the Division Vice President. My job was eliminated after the breakbulk in Kernersville to downsized to a Service Center.
