Daily Duties at Ross Controls:

Provide leadership and focuses on development of required knowledge, skills & abilities of quality staffs through training, educating, mentoring & coaching. Set the direction, motivate, & inspire quality staffs to generate creative & innovative ideas. Monitor & balance the budget. Key member of product safety committee member. Continual process/product/system improvement. Periodically assessing the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 QMS. Coordinated with Registrar for third party audit, performed lead auditor role, trained & certified Internal Auditor, and performed internal and external audits. Strategic quality plan development. Monitor trend of internal quality issues, nonconformance material, customer complaints and performed root cause analysis and implement necessary corrective/prevemtive actions. Monitor pre-production run parts to design conformance. Periodically assembly fixture design evaluation. Oversees warranty returned & product recall material. Support engineering in new product development. Interprete national, international, industrial standards, European standards, and government regulatory. Evaluate quality requirements of High/Low impect projects. Provide technical support to purchasing. Suppliers audit and develop partnership relation. Analyse and monitor poor performer suppliers; quality & delivery. Train, educate and monitor manufacturing people for ISO & Lean Mfg. concepts, SPC, Cpk, new processes & equipment. Work with Plant Manager to improve capacity & productivity. • Negotiated favorable contract terms with vendors by establishing an aggressive pricing strategy and maintaining close relationships with key suppliers and saved a substantial amount of money.
