Daily Duties at Lloyd/Flanders Industries:
Assemble parts in welding fixtures and weld to specifications.Welding furniture frames to match samples.Responsible for own quality.And to meet required rates of production based on Lean Manufacturing standards. Was also Group Leader on second and third shifts when required. Report to day shift manager daily for information exchange of the previous nights problems or concerns. Also interacted with other departments nightly to adjust schedules if necessary or correct product defects,or add product to cover shortages to continue to meet shipping dates.
