Daily Duties at Lloyd/Flanders Industries:

Produce parts steel and aluminum on many different machines. Ranging from cut-off saws to brake presses,punch presses,shears, coiling machines. Then moved on to Power tubing benders,vertical and horizontal types.This included set-up and change overs. all adjustments to maintain quality and matching parts to samples. Checking radius of bends and degrees of angle. Worked second shift for many years alone unsupervised because of my safety awareness.Became machine set-up man and group leader on shift training 5 new people at once. Did die setting on presses and set-up on saws daily. Also set safety devices to OSHA standards.Responsible for safety of new employees. And to keep machines and work orders set-up ahead at all times to keep work available for all people on my shift. And monitor the quality of their work as well as my own.
