Daily Duties at Idea Integration:

– Performed as a consulting manager on several long term client engagements with a focus on operational support systems implementation, test management strategy and operations, and process development. Served as the companies account manager and oversaw engagements with 35+ professionals. Key client experience included: • BCE Emergis - Managed a 20 person quality assurance department and of both Idea Integration Consultants and BCE Emergis Employees. ­ Reduced overtime and improved testing and development resource management by implementing a risk based defect prioritization strategy that identified defects earlier in the test cycle ­ Developed, implemented, and maintained process operating guidelines, and procedure standards ­ Implemented metrics, benchmarks, and key performance indicators to measure process performance improvement • Freddie Mac - Managed the assessment of a reorganization of the Information Systems Services Division’s testing function that was changing from a project-based organizational structure to a “Center of Excellence” organizational structure. ­ Developed current state assessment, researched industry best practices, and developed future state process models and organizational restructuring recommendations for the resource planning, resource management, test planning, test execution, project management, project estimation, defect management, deployment, and project closeout processes. • Freddie Mac - Led the testing effort for a web-based e-commerce mortgage application. Developed and executed test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for system and regression testing, managed defect resolution with business analysts and developers, and implemented feedback loops to ensure recommendations identified by the test team were included in future product requirements. • Cablevision - Managed a 70 + person project team on a multiphase operational support system implementation that supported over 500 users in 14 locations.
