Daily Duties at Cigna:

Led a team of 9 individuals directly and a matrix team of 16 individuals for the Resource Management function for the IT organization. Responsibilities included: - Ensuring the Project Portfolio was appropriately staffed with resources - Reviewing vendor contracts for offshore firms and local consulting firms - Monitoring and evaluating the IT Labor forecast Developing the Resource Management function - Implementing an architectural framework for people data across the employee, strategic sourcing, offshore contracting, and supplemental staffing channels and applications into a single book of record. The architectural framework enabled a repeatable approach for completing the monthly IT Labor forecast. - Developing a comprehensive Resource Management framework and vision across the IT Applications, Human Resources and Finance organizations. The framework defined the vendor management, professional development, forecasting, estimating, and tooling approaches required to move to single approach for resource management for the IT organization.
