Daily Duties at Chromalox Precision Heat And Control:

Primary responsibility was to supply equipment that met customer requirements or specifications. Often I worked to create specifications, working with customer's facility needs. For more complex systems, I became the project manager insuring correct raw materials purchased, facility adjustment layout to accommodate project fabrication, meeting with production management and personnel to initiate project release, support of project through first article, and final system checks and quality inspection. Integrated pumping systems with electrical distribution systems to create ready to be installed and implemented systems with customer facility. Performed system specification review, analysis of system structural and thermal requirements, produced prototype equipment for verification of specifications, and release of production drawings along with BOM and interdepartmental routings. Secondary tasks expanded to Chromalox facility needs, for instance, equipment layout, product flow using lean manufacturing techniques. Other facility needs included structural analysis of support equipment, modification of roll mills, presses, and product fixtures. Other tasks include customer on site start up and engineering support. Understanding the complete needs of the customer is very important. Often I worked with manufacturing personnel to insure complete understanding of the customer facilities requirements along with application requirments. Finally, product research and development completed to ensure product reliability and efficiency. Product lifetime cycles completed to update catalogues and instill customer confidence in product.
