Daily Duties at Ford Motor Company:

 Managed and delivered the business case and implementation of first total interior integration contract between General Motors and Visteon, sourcing was awarded and a full integration team was created for GMT001.  Managed business case development from initial quote through production change control and production tooling kickoff. Profit preparation for $100 million in interior product revenue and $40 million in facilities and tooling changes.  Coordinate and deliver the final price and investment strategy for new program quotes involving piece price, material cost, tooling, manufacturing facilities investment and modification, packaging, sequencing, engineering and design resource planning, program management, finance, return on sales and 'Supplier Value Add' metric analysis on the Explorer/Ranger interior systems. International Service Employee, Ford Spun-off Visteon while I was on Foreign Service.  Primary contact with German Vehicle Centers, Vehicle Manufacturing and Body Assembly plant for Door Trim design engineering clay feasibility issues to final release and delivery, fit & function, squeak & rattle, component and safety validation.  Reviewed all slow builds and on line vehicle builds as the primary engineering contact for all issues and problem resolutions regarding the engineering and release of the door trim system.  Provide engineering resolution for both immediate corrective actions as well as any long-term corrective actions through the Ford Concern Resolution Process data base system.  Investigated and presented root cause, proposed resolution and corrective actions to any vehicle drive evaluation concerns and followed up with engineering change release.  Lead Engineer for a team of three engineers, five designers and three component parts suppliers.  Single point contact with advanced vehicle safety office for testing and side impact analysis.  Co-patent award holder on an Automotive Door Interior Window Seal, used to attach the US 2000 MY Focus door trim to the sheet metal. (Paten Number 5,899,022) Ford Motor Company - Senior Engineer Instrument Panel / Cockpit Launch Leader  Led a small team in administering the modular release of all the components for a fully assembled instrument panel that was then sequenced and shipped in order of vehicle assembly (ILVS – 1500+ part numbers)  Chaired a by-weekly cross functional meeting with manufacturing, engineering, product release, suppliers and material planning and logistics to resolve build issues, release issues and commercial issues.  Co-Led Package, sequencing and shipping meeting with manufacturing and material planning for In-Line Vehicle Sequencing/ Feature Base Releasing.  Review all vehicle builds and be the primary source of contact for all issues and concern resolutions regard the assembly of the instrument panel and console design.  Provide design direction and resolution for both immediate corrective actions as well as any long-term corrective actions through the Concern Resolution Process.  Led Cross functional team (PDT) meetings and reviews with electrical wiring team, engine and transmission, body and chassis, electrical controls and instrumentation, radio, HVAC electrical and steering and suspension.
