Daily Duties at Srg Global Inc:

 Managed activities of design engineering department to design, prototype, and test and validate products and integrated systems through the active management of integrated product development teams. Launched over 140 new products in the last 3 years.  Manage department activities to innovate new products, modify existing designs for quality and cost improvements and improve production techniques. Led the investigation and development of cost effective test procedures for production implementation of vehicle component systems through Best Practices Innovation and Engineering Disciplines adherence.  Responsible for leading the development of database driven engineering change management system (PLM-Lifecycle management) that incorporates quoting, profitability improvement, engineering feasibility sign off for tooling and manufacturing, customer approval, production design release to production approval. Estimated saving the first year was $3 million in cost savings and cost avoidance.  Forecast operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget request, managed a $2 million departmental budget and reported out on performance to objective.  Managed product launch at our 7 facilities and at customer facilities. Managed the new product delivery to ensure that it is validated and engineered to achieve targeted quality and productivity level though adherence to gate system management and approval.  Responsible for updating and managing conformance and implementation of TS-16949 Audits for Engineering and Design departments.
