Daily Duties at John Laing Homes:
Reported to VP, 2 managers and supported a team of 30 sales professionals. o Planned and executed multiple company events: noted comparisons prior to booking venue to maintain budget, developed the invitation, decorations, and giveaways and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout event. o Coordinated sales staff logistics for eight community grand openings by selecting menu and beverages to be served to corporate staff. o Documented all sales events by photographing locale, homeowners and staff to support sales leadership for future team building presentations to corporate. o Produced winning video for 2005 sales symposium. Directed sales team at skit rehearsal, set up practice schedule, made props, wrote script for video, and set up all aspects of interviews with the homebuyers. Went onsite and interviewed them, directed editing of the video and presented it to management. Met with homebuyers at live presentation, and then cued team on stage during skit. o Wrote and updated division website by researching and selecting information about local city, school, shops and recreation that would be of greatest interest to potential homeowners. Won award out of eleven divisions for best community website, and consistently received high marks for its overall quality. o Managed and ordered department marketing materials, anticipating the need prior to major sales campaigns. o Handled department payables ensuring valued vendors were paid in a timely manner.
