Daily Duties at Chem Rx Ltc Pharmacy:

• Oversee all operations in the pharmacy. This includes Artromick, Bingo/Blister, Liquids, Externals, Compounding/IV, Conventional, Control Room, Bagging/Sorting, Returns/Credits, 24 Hr Ud Cassettes, Data Entry, Rph stations, Purchasing, QA and Customer Service. • Oversee general production operation. Assist in all aspects that contribute to timely pharmacy deliveries. This includes dictating a proper workflow in production, streamlining departments to eliminate down time, making necessary arrangements to assist all departments including outsourced driver services, resolving all pharmacy discrepancies, communicating to IT when necessary, communicating vital information to techs and Rph and delegating orders effectively and properly. • Maintain and control a tight budget through minimal OT, proper inventory, effective training and cross-training in all divisions. • Perform staff meetings, head tech meetings and motivational meetings. • Oversee monthly expired-med check, error tracking logs and HIPAA regulations. • Oversee and control all STATS, missing doses and pull order procedures. • Assist purchasing department with handling all no-stock related issues in the pharmacy. • Liaison in pharmacy to account managers, DON and administrators. • Illustrating positive morale to boost efficiency, great work ethics and loyalty.
